Jazz International Logo
Welcome!

Established in 2008 by mainstream jazz singer Todd Gordon, Jazz International has staged over 90 concerts in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness.

Since last autumn, we have been concentrating on occasional, larger-scale concerts instead of the more frequent programme of smaller gigs in the Glasgow and Edinburgh. Our aim, however, remains to present a wide variety of top quality jazz and jazz-related music in concert-style, listening venues - and a big THANK YOU to everyone who has supported past concerts, and we look forward to welcoming you to future events.

Jazz International is delighted to announce its next concert will feature the fantastic Dame Cleo Laine; details follow. We will be announcing new concert dates soon, so please join our mailing list (click on the 'mailing list' link above) and we'll keep you posted on developments. Meantime, tune into Britain's new jazz station, UK Jazz Radio where Todd has joined the list of presenters alongside Jacqui Dankworth, Digby Fairweather, Frank Griffith, Tina May and Dave Gelly, etc. Check it out at: www.ukjazzradio.com

Janet Seidel Trio and The Great American Songbook

- with guest appearance by Todd Gordon

Scottish Jazz Awards 2011

15 March 2012

Making a welcome return to Glasgow City Halls is "Australia's first lady of jazz" - the much loved singer/pianist, Janet Seidel.

A consummate performer and internationally regarded for her interpretations of American Songbook classics, she celebrates the wonderful composers and lyricists in that magical genre.

For this rare Scottish appearance, Janet has invited Todd Gordon to join her for a few numbers.

"Anyone who considered and rejected the notion of attending the Glasgow debut of Janet Seidel should really be kicking themselves for missing out on an evening of first-class entertainment."

- Alison Kerr, The Herald ****
